Speaker 1:

Hey guys, I thought I would do a little bit of a different approach. I'm just walking around because I am going through some ups and downs in business and the roller coaster ride has got me going right now, and the best way to describe it is I just needed some time to walk around and think, and the thinking is helping me. Why not shoot a video? Why not shoot a podcast and just talk about what's going on? And the best way I know how to describe it is just to be transparent and upfront with you guys of where I'm at. I'll probably get up and walk around during this time and see where it takes me, but my thoughts are this Business is tough and when you're in a struggle point of trying to figure out how to make everything work, you have to realize that there's bigger forces out there than you.

Speaker 1:

Faith, god, universe, all those things play into it and I believe in all of them. But the one thing that I know I struggle with on a daily basis is having faith that this is all going to work out. I hope, I can hope a lot, but I don't have faith and I don't know how faith plays into your business, but I know for me personally and business-wise. I got into this space to help others. My heart has always been there to help others that couldn't otherwise buy a home. That couldn't otherwise buy a home. And I think at times that's a struggle to remember because I've got so many other things on my head or I've got other worries, whatever the case is and that's when I really started thinking about I don't have community. I started thinking about I don't have community. I don't have enough community to help me through the lean times and I don't have community to help me during the, able to share some of the things that I'm going through. And that's a struggle for me. I don't know about you guys, but that is a struggle that I need to share what's going on in life with other people and I just don't think people should have to put those burdens on others. But when you have a strong community, it works.

Speaker 1:

I've been struggling a lot with that and last week I went to a small group of like-minded entrepreneurs and it went well. I got introduced. There was about 14, 13, 14 people there Got introduced. Some people was able to talk and just connect. It felt good. I'm going to go back this week and try it, but how this all relates to business guys is for me.

Speaker 1:

I'm really looking at is how do I build myself up, and the only way I know to do that is with other like-minded individuals. It can't be done by myself, because I've been trying to do it that way for far too long and it doesn't work. It's a struggle every single day to try to do it on your own and I'm taking on every single burden that I possibly can deal with at once and I said this last week is that I want to get what's dealt with in the past off of my today's plate, because it seems like I'm circling back to stuff that was in the past. It's just frustrating. It's nerve-wracking at times because you're like where do I get everything from? Where do I make everything work? How do I take care of everything? That's the problem, and that's what I'm trying to understand is how do I get everything that I'm dealing with in the past to be moved forward and get past it?

Speaker 1:

And I don't have that answer, and I know that is partly from faith. I've got to have faith that it's going to happen, but I also have to understand the things that are happening, for whatever reason. There's some type of lesson in there, and I'm trying to learn lessons in all of this, but sometimes it's just overwhelming, it's too much. But sometimes it's just overwhelming, it's too much, and the best way I know how to describe this and just again, being as transparent as I possibly can be is it's frustrating. It's like why does this continue to happen? When I put my heart into this, I'm trying to do exactly what I intended to do from the beginning and I continue to struggle and I don't have answers other than I have to own. I need community, I need to have faith, I need a God universe. All that has to come into play and I think for the longest time I've been doing this, trying to do this on my own, and it doesn't make sense at all. I feel like if I have to put my burdens or talk to people about what's going on in my business, I feel like I'm putting a burden on them. But I was able to share a little bit in the last week's meetup group and it was nice, talking about faith versus hope, and there were some other people that were struggling with the same thing, so it was nice to hear their perspective on it and I was able to get some ideas put together and work on it.

Speaker 1:

It's a lot, and I'm not saying I'm going through anything unique. I'm sure there's other entrepreneurs that are going through this, other business owners. You could be going through it in your nine to five. It's life, it's all part of it. I don't know what else to say other than when you're in this space, it's tough to see out, and when you actually find a way to get out, you need to make sure that you are out there sharing it with others to help them, but also being able to actually learn from the situation and see how far you've gone.

Speaker 1:

And I tend to look back at where I was at to now and there's some great things that have happened. And I've been journaling for a while, so I've been looking at my journal and there's been things that I've asked for, things that I wanted to get through, that I got through. So that's great. It's just I'm in the midst of the storm right now and it's just a lot going on. And it's just, I'm in the midst of the storm right now and it's just, there's a lot going on and it's tough not giving up.

Speaker 1:

I'm just sharing with you guys that there's truly options out there to get yourself in a better space, but it starts with faith and you have to believe it, because I do a lot of hoping and that is a huge struggle for me and I don't know. I honestly I don't know how I'm going to overcome that and understand that things will get better. But all I can do is be consistent and persistent. Like I say on a daily basis, it's just being in the eye of the storm for so long you actually forget what it's like to have some calm and peace, and when that happens, I'm going to be very thankful. I'm going to really make sure that I tell God that thank you very much for getting me through this but also leaning on more faith, knowing that I can get this done and there's always a way to get it done. It just might not be the way that I want to get it done or the way I thought it was going to get done, but it gets done and it has a positive outcome.

Speaker 1:

Life and business they're intertwined and we tend to have blurry lines with them, but I think in this instance they're truly. They are separate. In this instance they're truly. They are separate in this instance, but it actually bleeds over to my personal life, which makes personal life more difficult, and I need to find a way to solve my faith issue and being in that mindset of the secret, you envision it, you ask for it, you pray for it. However, you want to speak about that and you envision it being in your space, it'll happen. It just doesn't happen on our timeframe and that's the struggle that I have is this is just a lot of items at once to be able to get things done and be able to get through the storm. So, guys, I hope you guys have a great day, have a good one.
